BIG BAND CONCERT
The Boonah Community Band comes together with a guest band in a spectacular orchestral concert from the 1812 overture to Abba.

EMBELLISH IT
Take all the trimmings and a whole lot of baubles and beads and bling up an art canvas to hang on your wall.

WRITING WORKSHOP – ROMANCE WRITING

Writing short romance fiction (and what to do when you’re finished)’ By Sofia Aves, a USA TODAY bestselling romantic suspense author. An interactive workshop where writers will develop their setting, characters and begin plotting/writing their short piece.

THE GREAT DEBATE
Funny?  Some of Boonahs’ funniest characters debating “Absurdist Comedy”
Includes the All Saints Choir and young public speaking winners.

Thursday 5 September

ART WORKSHOP
Join award winning artist Glen Smith in a fun workshop using plastic bags and acrylic paint to create a masterpiece.  Includes all supplies.

SIP and PAINT
Try your hand at painting and have fun at this social event.  Includes a pre drawn canvas, paints, artist instructions and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink.

YOUTH SHOWCASE
A highly entertaining magical night, event featuring local children aged from 4 years performing and dancing in this special event. Fantastic props.  Music the kids love.

Saturday 7 September

FESTIVAL FINALE
A night to celebrate the creative festivities of the Festival including the stunning outfits designed and modelled in this night of fashion and wearable art, the presentation of the Art and Writing prizes, plus entertainment from local young musicians, Boonah High School Rock Band and much more.

Members – $5
Non-members – $10
Students – free
Children Under 12 free, but tickets are still required for organisation and seating.
